AOLG Partners Ota Lions District 404‑B4 Axis on Clean ‑Up Exercise |Omohglobalnews

 Ado Odo Ota Local Government under the leadership of Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu, FCA,  recently partnered with the Lions and Leos of Region 7, District 404‑B4 Ota Axis, for a City‑Wide Clean‑Up Ota Exercise .

Hon. Lawal Wasiu, who had pledged full logistical support, including a dedicated waste‑evacuation truck when Lion leaders met with him prior to the event, fulfilled his pledge and also directed the department of Water and Environmental Sanitation headed by Sanitarian Olamoyegun Rasheedat to deployed no fewer than six officials to join the Lions in sensitizing the public and sanitizing the environment. 

The Council's department of Water and Environmental Sanitation in conjunction with the Lions and Leos,  demonstrated proper cleaning techniques using brooms, packers, and waste bins, while also addressing market men and women on public health and sanitation best practices. Following the clean‑up demonstration, the team proceeded to the Ota Area Command Police Station, where they donated a new waste bin to facilitate ongoing proper waste disposal. The dedicated LG truck was on standby throughout, ensuring that all collected refuse was promptly removed from the site.

This partnership underscores the Council Boss commitment to  working with relevant stakeholders in delivering quality services to the people.
