Ado-Odo Ota Area Command Undertakes Joint Operation Show of Force.... Warns against traffic, hoodlum activities |Omohglobalnews

 In commemoration with Muslim faithful on Ramadan Festival,  the security agencies, Area Command Ota, during their inter - agency collaboration meeting , the security chiefs have agreed to always work together in order to promote unity, support and professionalism among the various security agencies in Sango, Ota, Ogun state. 



In respect to this, joint patrol (Operation show your force) was carried out on Saturday, 29th March, 2025 within the command.  On behalf of all the Chief securities, the joint patrol was led by  the Nigeria Civil Defence and Security Corps, Area Commander, ACC Adesanya Lawrence in the absence of ACP Shola Oladele(Sango-Ota Area Commander) and supported by CSP Saleh Dahiru and CSP  Ernest Obideyi of both Sango division and Onipanu division. The joint patrol team, which started from Sango police station took the team to Ìjókò, Ijako, Iyana Ilogbo, back to sango under bridge, Toll gate, Ojuore, Ilogbo rd, Onipanu, Iyana Iyesi, back to Ojuore via Idiroko road back to Sango police station. 


In his remarks, the Nigeria Civil Defence and Security Corps, Area Commander, ACC Adesanya Lawrence, said the purpose of the exercise is to dislodge criminal minded people and to ensure no intending people that might carry out any nefarious activities during the festive period. Also, to ensure there is free flow of traffic throughout the festive period for both travelling in and outside Ota environ. 






CSP Saleh emphasized that all members of the team should remain civil, not too hard and not too soft on any offenders during the exercise but enlighten them on side effects of their actions  with no intention of arresting  anyone. 


During the exercise, members of the team  worked efficiently ensuring all obstructions on the roads were cleared, while sensitising traders on effect of road trading and blockages of the major road.

In conclusion the aim of the exercise is to sensitise the populists on smooth and freeflow of movement throughout the Ramadan festive period and to assure everyone of adequate security and safety in Sango-Ota Ota area command and its environ. 





Personnel from all security agencies, were ably represented which include: the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Navy, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Department of State Services (DSS), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), TRACE, Amotekun, Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO), and Fire Services.
