The annual Ramadan Lecture and Iftar, hosted by Alhaji Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA and his family, brought together a diverse gathering of Muslim brothers and sisters from across Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government and its surrounding areas. This event promoted a spirit of unity and love during the holy month.
Sheikh Bar. Ali Daudu delivered the Ramadan Lecture, emphasizing the importance of unity and love among Muslim brothers and sisters. He stressed the need for love, especially during Ramadan, and urged those who speak evil or blackmail others to desist from such behavior and instead cultivate a spirit of love.
Sheikh Ali offered prayers for Alhaji Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA, Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, commending his steadfastness and love for organizing the annual lecture. This lecture has become a platform for imparting knowledge and promoting spiritual growth.
Alhaji Wasiu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and Muslim scholars who participated in the Ramadan lecture and Iftar. He praised their efforts in seeking knowledge and spiritual growth during the blessed month.
"May Allah (SWT) reward you abundantly for your efforts and may He accept our fasting, prayers, and charitable deeds," Alhaji Wasiu said. "May He grant us forgiveness, mercy, and guidance."
Alhaji Wasiu thanked the dignitaries present, including the Chairman of Yewa South Local Government, Barr. Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola, and Hon. Tunji Akinosi MHR Ado-Odo Ota Federal Constituency. He also thanked AOLG APC Party Chairman Hon. Jimoh Akeran, Sheik Olohungbebe, guests, the Muslim community, friends, family, and political friends and supporters for their unwavering support, love, and camaraderie.
He expressed his honor in being part of the community and looked forward to continuing their spiritual journey together.
