The Ota Club delegates recently paid a courtesy visit to Alhaji Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA, the Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, at his office in the secretariat. The visit was an opportunity for the club to appreciate the chairman’s outstanding performance and efforts in developing the local government. He was honored with an award of excellence and tagged as “MR PROJECT” due to his focus on infrastructural development.
The visit was an opportunity for the club to appreciate the chairman's excellent performance and pray for his successful tenure as a dedicated member of Ota Club and his roles in promoting the legacy of the local government.
During the visit, Dr. Adeola Balogun commended the chairman for his outstanding work, urging him to continue welcoming ideas and criticizing them properly before implementation. He also advised the chairman to share his ideas and consider others' judgments before execution.
Prince Dr. Adegbenro Faloun emphasized the importance of engaging youths, describing them as the panacea for any developing society. He encouraged the chairman to have timely engagements with the youth and to undertake a major landmark project that would promote him and the local government.
Other members of the club, including Mr. Dayo Ayanwale, Engr Bayo Abiola, and Engr Biodun Abiola, also offered words of advice and encouragement to the chairman. They urged him to maintain his focus on infrastructure development, ensure quality projects, and serve the people right.
Alhaji Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA appreciated the visit and the club’s kind words, acknowledging that he cannot achieve his goals alone. He expressed his commitment to working with the club and other stakeholders to ensure his administration’s success, emphasizing collaboration with security agencies, community development, and transparency in project execution.
