Iyana Ekoro was abuzz with excitement as Ijaodola Foundation hosted a memorable two-in-one party, commemorating Ajobiewe Day and the foundation’s seventh anniversary, coupled with a prestigious awards ceremony.
The event was electrified by mesmerizing cultural dance performances, courtesy of the renowned Profound Heritage Africa Dance Troupe, adding vibrancy to the celebration.
Awards were bestowed upon distinguished dignitaries who have tirelessly supported the foundation's mission to aid the needy, recognizing their selfless contributions. Personalities who received award and their categories are, Yeye Linda Igudia Ajani - Yeyesewa of Ijaodola Foundation ( also received award Most Brilliant and Outstanding in all kind of Fashion and Unique Outfit from Divine Glory ), Bubble FM CEO, Taofeek Ajadi Yekini – Amuludun of Ijaodola Foundation.
Others are Prophet Afolabi- Majeobaje of Ijaodola, O.A Oladele- Yeye Gbewaniyi of Ijaodola, Chief Adeniyi Adekunle- Mayegun of Ijaodola and High Chief Rasaq Adewunmi – Apase of Ijaodola Foundation.
Bar. Ajose Kelubia Igudia, NBA Chairman, OTA Branch and the President of Ijaodola Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Almighty God for the successful seventh anniversary, highlighting the impressive turnout of esteemed guests. She emphasized that this year celebration marks the 7th since the foundation was created to help the needy.
According to Bar. Ajose, the foundation has given scholarship to students to tertiary level and also provides for widows since inception.
Queen Muyinat Adunni Ijaodola, founder of Ijaodola Foundation, shared the organization's purpose: to provide succor to the helpless and needy, born from her personal life experiences.
She revealed that Ajobiewe Day is an integral part of the foundation's anniversary celebrations, honoring her father's birthday, which falls within the same period.
