Chief Mrs Kelubia Ajose Emerges As The First Female Chairperson of Ota Bar |Omohglobalnews

 

Bar. Kelubia Ajose, has emerged as the  Chairman of Ota branch of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA). 

This came up as a result of the verdict of the Electoral  Appeal committee of the south west Zone  in a sitting held on July 14,2024.

It will be recalled that any nominator of any candidates to the position of chairman  of a branch must have attended meetings five times in twelve months, a condition which Alhaji Adeosun one of the nominators of Mr Josiah Ogunwale did not meet. Therefore the appeal committee ruled that in as much as Bar.  Ajose  Kelubia was not only qualified but met Electoral committees bye laws requirements,hence  she shall be declared the  chairman of Ota branch been the only contestant with Ogunwale Esq.

The commitee disqualified Josiah Ogunwale Esq. based on the irregularities of his nominators and upheld the victory for chief kk as fondly called.
