IHRAAC Condemns Bandit Heinous Attacked In Sarkon Noma Village in Katsina |Omohglobalnews

Statement: IHRAAC strongly condemns the heinous attacks perpetrated by bandits in Sarkin Noma village, Sayau Ward, Sabuwa Local Government Area, Katsina State, resulting in the tragic loss of 20 innocent lives. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the affected families and communities.

Additionally, IHRAAC expresses grave concern over the abduction of 10 individuals by bandits in Kwarare village, Mazanya Ward, Jibia Local Government Area, Katsina State. We stand in solidarity with the victims and their families during this difficult time.


Recommendations:


1. Immediate Security Measures: IHRAAC calls for the urgent implementation of robust security measures in affected communities to prevent further attacks and ensure the safety of residents.

2. Comprehensive Investigation and Accountability: We urge authorities to conduct thorough and transparent investigations into these incidents, holding perpetrators accountable for their actions and delivering justice to the victims and their families.

3. Community Resilience and Support: It is imperative to provide immediate support and assistance to the affected communities, including psychosocial support, humanitarian aid, and rebuilding efforts to restore livelihoods and foster resilience.

4. Enhanced International Collaboration: IHRAAC emphasizes the importance of international collaboration and support in addressing the persistent security challenges in Katsina State and the wider region. We call on international partners to assist in implementing comprehensive security initiatives and sharing best practices.

5. Public Awareness and Vigilance: Communities must be empowered with information and resources to enhance their awareness of security risks and improve vigilance against potential threats. Public education campaigns on safety measures and emergency response protocols should be prioritized.


  Warning to Perpetrators: IHRAAC issues a stern warning to the perpetrators of these heinous acts. We unequivocally condemn their cowardly actions and remind them that they will be held accountable for their crimes. There is no place for violence and terror in our communities, and those responsible will face the full force of the law.


Call to Authorities: IHRAAC urges all relevant authorities to prioritize the safety and security of citizens by taking decisive action to apprehend the perpetrators and dismantle their criminal networks. We call on law enforcement agencies to redouble their efforts in protecting vulnerable communities and ensuring justice for the victims.
