In a heartwarming gesture of compassion, Hon Yusi Buba, Special Adviser to the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, has distributed 200 bags of rice to the weak and vulnerable in Gombe State. The distribution exercise was carried out in collaboration with Coordinator of Betta4better, One to tell 50, Betta Edu achievement awareness forum, and Hon. Yusuf Raul, (Convener/National Coordinator of Betta Edu New Media Centre) and Hon Musaji Muhammad Gidado (Turakin Herwagana).
The beneficiaries of the rice donation expressed their gratitude to Hon Yusi Buba and the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation for their generosity and support. They noted that the rice donation will go a long way in alleviating their hardship and putting food on their tables.
Hon Yusi Buba, while speaking at the distribution event, reiterated the commitment of the Federal Government to providing succor to the less privileged in society. He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the rice donation.
Yusuf Raul, Convener and National Coordinator of Betta Edu New Media Centre, commended Hon Yusi Buba for his humanitarian gesture. He called on other well-meaning Nigerians to emulate Hon Yusi Buba's example by giving back to the society.
The distribution of rice to the weak and vulnerable in Gombe State is a commendable initiative that will provide much-needed relief to those in need. It is a testament to the compassion and generosity of Hon Yusi Buba and the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
