The Management of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government has concluded plans to consolidate on in-house training for staffers of the Council in order to improve on services delivery in line with the earlier directive from the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission under the leadership of Barr. Olivia Oluwabukunola Onabanjo.
According to the Acting Head of Local Government Administration of the Council Engr. Osiyale Ayodele who made it known to the career officers that during the recent One-day Work Group meeting for Heads of Local Government Administration and Heads/Functional Heads of departments organized by the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, the issue of training and re-training of staffers was highly emphasized on. He also said that Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government has been training staffs on a regular basis but needs not to relent on its oars.
Furthermore, Engr. Osiyale Ayodele urged the department of Administration and General Services headed by the Director Prince Dada Oloruntoba to continue on the already laid down arrangement on in-house training for staffers of the Council.
The Director General Services Administration of the Council Prince Dada Oloruntoba FCPA in his response, assured the acting Head of Local Government of the department of General Services Administration in collaboration with other departments readiness to build on the existing in-house training plan that has been regular for staffers in order to prepare them for any examination and also to improve them on service delivery.
He equally appreciated the Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa led Administration for their unflenching support towards development of staffers of the Council. He also extended his appreciation to the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission for the laudable innovation.
