The May edition of the Beulah World Initiative (BWI), Medical/Food Outreach was held on Saturday, May27, 2023, at the Lecture Theatre Car Park, in Covenant University, Idiroko Road, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, to bring relief to Widows, Low-income Residents, and others, who may find it hard to get access to medical care.
The outreach, which started with a prayer session and a sermon delivered by the Assistant Resident Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Ota, Pastor John Izebere, witnessed a great turnout of beneficiaries whose lives were impacted significantly.
There were different sections at the Outreach, like the Vital Signs Section; the BloodTest Section; the Eye Clinic Section; the Consultation Section; the Pharmacy Section; the Clothes Section, and the Food Section. Amongst the blood tests conducted during the outreach was for HIV/Syphilis.
People were treated for several medical issues, and some that required further investigations were referred to appropriate medical professionals.
In an interview with some of the participants, they expressed their appreciation to Beulah World and expressed their joy at being able to access medical care. Many participants got to know their medical status for the first time via the outreach.
A lot of the participants were also very happy to get their eyes checked and treated and also to be assisted with reading glasses. In the words of one of the participants, who introduced herself as Madam Favour, "I am happy that this outreach was put in place because most of the time, I don't even have the money to go to the hospital to do check-ups, not to talk of treatment and here it is free."
Another participant said she came with pains, but she got treated and given the drugs needed. May God bless everyone He used to make it happen and give them a visible breakthrough before this week is over in Jesus Mighty Name!
Participants Express Gratitude to Beulah World Initiative
