Vice President Kashim Shettima, has decorated the Acting Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Adeniyi’s decoration which was done on Monday, June 26, 2023, comes one week after he was named the Acting Customs Chief by President Bola Tinubu on Monday, June 19, 2023, alongside other new security helmsmen.
Vice President Shettima had recently performed a similar decoration ceremony at the Presidential Villa, where he bestowed the new rank upon Kayode Egbetokun, the Acting Inspector-General of Police.
Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected back in the country this week after travelling to attend a summit in Paris.
The summit tagged ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ was hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
