A technocrat cum devout Moslem, Mallam Alimi Bisi Awoyemi has been commended for his resilience and great trust in Allah.
A veteran journalists and President, Association of Christian Journalists of Nigeria (ACJ) Pa Oludayo Ojewole, gave the commendation at Opaleye Estate in Joke Ayo Area of Lagos State during the warming of his house on Eid- el Kabir day on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
Going down memory lane, Pa Ojewole said Baba Awo, às he is being fondly called, has passed through many challenges like hard times but today, we give glory to Allah that he is not only being alive but having a breakthrough.

He said Baba Awo's resilience coupled with being prayerful have contributed immensely to his success story today.
The veteran journalist therefore urged youths to emulate Baba Awo's hardwork and trust in God.
In his remarks, Malam Awoyemi gave glory to Allah, paid tribute to some good friends that stood by him when things were hard, the Shepherd and members of Ìlérí Olúwa Celestial Church of Christ, (CCC) Lagos, and more importantly, his wife.
He also thanked his children who through thick and thin gave total support to enable him achieve his dreams adding that Pa Wale Abiola is au father whose advice and support can not be underestimated.
Many dignitaries and friends of Baba Awo were present including Mrs Oni, a Galaxy television presenter, 82 year old head of Okinni indigenes in Lagos, as Baba Awo ìs from Okinni in Osun State.
