Self-styled ‘wahala’ musician has explained why he was not at the pre-inauguration concert in Abuja for President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

The event tagged: “Renewed Hope concert” which took place on Thursday at the MKO Abiola National Stadium was well-attended by celebrities from the entertainment industry.

Over 30 A-list musicians, including Timaya, Tony Tetuila, Pasuma, 9ice, KCee, Asake, Waje, Brymo, BNXN, Fireboy and Naira Marley, among many other top names in the music industry, were in attendance to thrill guests with pulsating performances in honour of the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shettima ahead of their inauguration on May 29.

But Portable, who was conspicuously absent, alleged he was schemed out by orgainsers (middlemen in charge of inviting artistes).

Hw claimed the ‘middle men’ didn’t love Tinubu or voted for him, stating they were ‘ripping him’ off his dues after he endured insults campaigning for the former Lagos Governor.

In a post via his Instagram page, the ‘Zazu’ crooner said in Pidgin English: “Hello, Nigerians, my people! Dem don rip me!! Na me dey shout upandan, ‘Akoi Tinubu’. Anytime I post Tinubu, dem go insult me, I still dey post am.

“I sing song for Tinubu, dem dey insult me. I sing, ‘Obi is a Boy’. President wa! Dem insult me as I drop the song, the song dey online.

“Dem no post you baba me. Mr Nigeria, uncle Tinubu, dem no post you! All those people na open eye dem dey use o! dem no post you.

“Na we fight for you. We fought for you in Lagos, everywhere and online. Baba, remember us! We know say you remember us, na middle man wan rip us. Dem say una pay 10 million! Na so una dey start o! Won tu ti be re o! (They have started).

“Na me say Akoi Tinubu o! That time, no be Obi una dey vote for. Na Tinubu enter na, those useless people una go dey perform there.

“No be me promo Tinubu ni? Akoi Tinubu! Na so dem call my manager o! Dem say we wan Portable to perform for Abuja, na 10 million dem drop o but na 5 million go reach Portable hand. I no gree. I tear the paper, I delete their number. You dey whine? No be me be star. You dey whine Jesus? Naim make me no perform for Abuja for Tinubu!

“You dey gather go celebrate Tinubu, do you love Tinubu? Shey all those musician, dem post Tinubu? Dem vote for Tinubu? You dey whine Jesus?! O da pe (e be like say)…

“Nigeria my country, na so we dey do ourselves o!

“Thank God, na God lift Baba up. No be una carry baba reach there. Na una go reach baba for where e dey. Na so dem dey insult Tinubu, use him voice do beat. Awon oloribuku! Tinubu now don be president now, e don win. Una do like say una support am.

“Awa gang an lo omo Tinubu (we are the real children of Tinubu). Na we promo Tinubu. Na we shout, e dibo fun Tinubu (vote for Tinubu). Dem don rip me o my people. Gbo gbo aye ma baje te ba ti fun mi lo owo temi (the world will scatter if you people don’t give me my money).”
