Nigeria’s new president Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the decision of his government to unify the exchange rate effectively doing away with the multiple exchange rate regime characterized by the just departed Buhari administration.
President Bola Tinubu also assured he will tackle terror and extreme poverty.
“I will do that through job creation and food security and end to extreme poverty.
“I will ensure that corruption is tackled by strengthening anti-corruption agencies.”
He also mentioned the removal of fuel subsidy.
He made these remarks as part of his inaugural speech on May 29th,
