TRACE Boss Congratulates Gov Abiodun On His Re-election, Calls On Motoring Public For Cooperation|Omohglobalnews

The Corps Commander/CEO, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE, Cdr 'Seni Ogunyemi, has congratulated the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on his re-election to continue to steer the ship of the state to the shore of success, for the next four years.

"Please accept my warm congratulations on your victory and my best wishes for your success as you prepare to take up the greater responsibilities and challenges of your high office as the number One Citizen of Ogun State", Ogunyemi wrote.

As the governor embark upon the new mandate and responsibilities, the TRACE Boss wishes to assure him and the good people of Ogun State of the readiness of the  TRACE Agency to continue to work assiduously, as usual, with regards to traffic control and provide enabling environment and atmosphere for fulfillment of the Governor's promises during his electioneering campaigns.

"The TRACE Management look forward to working with His Excellency and not only to develop and sustain better traffic environment, but also to concert our efforts in reduction of road crashes and promote the cause of peace and the brotherhood of all peoples in the state.

Ogunyemi seized the opportunity to advise well wishers to exercise caution while rejoicing over the re-election of the Governor, saying blocking of roads in the name of victory party may be risky and injurious to emergency cases.

"We want to advise motorists who used unregistered, covered or political plate numbers during electioneering campaign to remove them immediately and get their vehicles registered as the law enforcement agencies have been directed to apprehend violators.

"I will like to enjoin all and sundry to cooperate with the TRACE Agency in ensuring peaceful traffic environment to mark the second coming of our hardworking Governor.

"This we can achieve by avoiding  haphazard parking, restricted roads to certain vehicles above six tyres, and other immediate and remote causes of road crashes to reduce accident rate this time around", he said.h

Ogunyemi advises vehicle owners to ensure proper condition of their vehicles before putting them on the roads, while urging those whose vehicles develop engine issues or breakdown, should not hesitate to call on TRACE for assistance.

"May I also use this opportunity to warn miscreants who take delight in attacking TRACE Operatives in the course of their duty, to desist from this act and cooperate with them in bringing sanity on the roads or else they should be ready to face the wrath of the law.", he said.
