Triune Biblical University held its matriculation convention and conferment of Honourary Doctorate degrees at Miffy hall, Akesan on Wednesday,7th December,2022.
New students were matriculated for various programs while 9 honorary doctorate degrees conferred on 8 men and a woman who were all awarded for their charismatic leadership, professional capabilities, selfless service and philanthropic to the lives of many Nigerian outstanding contribution.
The president of the institution Rev. Pro. Adeleke Daniel Durojaiye congratulated the new students matriculating and the awardees . While declaring open, the Congregation commemorating the matriculation ceremony of TBU-GE Lagos Campus he said "The purpose of Christian education is the directing of the process of human development toward God's objective for man: godliness of character and action. It bends its efforts to the end" , which was butressed with (2 Tim. 3:17).
He said according to the University Triune Biblical University Global Extension, USA. "The students should always remember that Triune refers to the Trinity and the Godhead in Christianity and in Proverbs 9:10 "."The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding".
The Vice Chancellor of the Institution Professor Edward Ayeni during the interview session with our correspondent said various courses are offered, duly accredited with both online and physical lecture available. Also he said those awarded honorary doctorate degrees are notable and eminent Nigerians with high integrity which is very important and key.
The only female awardees Dr Mrs Olajide Oluwafunmilola Ade an educationist, who bagged Doctor in Public Administration Said "she feels fulfilled and inspired to do more to the less privileged with the honorary doctorate degree bestowed on her". She expressed her gratitude in glowing terms both to God and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who privileged her to work with Officials of the institution which today produces the needed exposure and the eventual bestowal of the honorary degree.
She said, "Triune University is positioned to fulfill part of the THEMES agenda of Babajide Sanwo-Olu to give our youths quality education which would take them off the street, and I would continue to work with them to achieve it."
Another awardee, Dr Adekunle Joel Akintayo who's been honoured with doctor in Entrepreneurship, is an entrepreneur, freight forwarder and exporter, thanked the school for the honour and hope to do more in promoting the school through his philanthropic work to the society.
One of the matriculating students, Mrs. Yetunde Fagbenro Anjorin, a staff of the Lagos State government, embarking on a PHD Programme in Health Information Management was delighted with the fact that the school is approved with the Lagos State government and its courses are internationally accredited.
According to her "she feels fulfilled and hope to give her best for the 3 years program she is embarking on and will be better of by the end of the program".

Triune Biblical University Global Extension, USA, Inc. was established in 2006 by Rev. Prof. Adeleke Daniel Durojaiye - A Christian minister and Christian educator of several years standing. His contribution to the Church as a pastor, counselor, teacher and theologian had birthed in him a desire to help believers to be spiritually, academically, mentally and socially sound birthed in him the vision of establishing a Christian university that could reach to all classes of people, train, equip and release them with a Christian worldview to impact their communities. Thus, the Christian values are cherished and encouraged as a part of learning.
