The wife of Nigeria’s Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, on Tuesday, led an entourage to the upper legislative chamber to witness votes on the Constitution Review which started today.
The wife of Nigeria’s Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, on Tuesday, led an entourage to the upper legislative chamber to witness votes on the Constitution Review which started today.
She was received into the Senate chamber alongside the Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Pauline Tallen, Representative of the United Nations, Director-General of the National Women Development Centre.
The observers were allowed into the Chamber at exactly 12.40 pm.
Last week Tuesday, the First Lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari, also visited the two Chambers of the National Assembly when the Constitution Review Report was officially laid.
The votes that kicked off today was scheduled to last for two days as the report which constituted 68 bills would be considered on a bill-by-bill basis.
